For some of us, the information learned is new, and for some, it is old news but a good reminder
***As always, please consult your Physician before making any major changes regarding your physical health***
Mediterranean Diet
Known to improve cognitive function and reduce risk of heart disease and stroke!
Bulk of food intake in the Mediterranean diet:
• Daily consumption of fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, and
whole grains.
• Weekly intake of fish and seafood.
• Moderate dairy, poultry and eggs.

Keto Diet
Known to be very effective in treating diabetes and insulin resistance!
A low carb/high fat diet, the bulk of food comes from non-starchy vegetables, followed by protein, and only 10%carbs. While the Keto diet encourages high fat, it is very detailed as to where that fat should come from so find out more here: https://www.ruled.me/guide-keto-diet/

Intermittent Fasting
Studies have concluded Intermittent fasting to improve cognitive function and increase lifespan, but these trials have only been tested on rodents, so be mindful that more research is required. I found this link very beneficial in learning about the various benefits of intermittent fasting: https://jamesclear.com/the-beginners-guide-to...

These are only a few of the many lifestyle changes that can be made to improve your health physically and mentally, but as always I encourage you to do your research and take action on what works best for you!
Lastly, I would not be a proper Physio if I did not remind you of other actions to take to improve your health, such as 20minutes of intended exercise daily and a minimum 10minutes of daily meditation/mindfulness practice.
Peace, Love, Strength and Stay Great!
